Distinctly Delicious Darlington

2014 – 2016 Commissioned by the Distinct Darlington to create and produce a new festival celebrating the best local food and the unique character of the town.

The event is produced with Maddie Maughan and includes a curated food producer and street food market of over 50 stalls,  demonstrations and workshops, live music, street theatre and the amazing  Locomotion Cake Parade – celebrating the journey of the world’s first passenger railway journey, which took place in Darlington, with a procession of giant carriage-shaped cakes, decorated by Darlington locals to represent elements of their home town.

40k people visited Darlington Town Centre during the event in 2014 and over 55k in 2016
